Jeernodhar Conservators is a Company that dedicates itself for offering excellent services

in the field of built heritage restoration since almost a decade. We specialize in conceptualization, organizing, engineering, training, project managing, preparation and use of traditional lime and lime mortars in the area of Heritage Building Conservation.

Directors

Mr. Nilesh M Thakkar ( The Director )

Mr. Nilesh M Thakkar is a practicing built heritage restorer with more than two decades of experience exclusively in the heritage conservation area. He has completed his Earth and Bamboo Course, Auroville (2015), Diploma in Built Heritage Studies& Conservation (All modules) from Sir J J College of Architecture, MMR Heritage Society, and The Museum Mumbai (2013), Autumn Repair Course from Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings, London (2007), Lime Repair Course from Scottish Lime Centre, Scotland (2007), Post Graduate Cultural Course from TVP Mumbai (1997) and Bachelors of Engineering in construction from Mumbai University (1995).

His previous work experience states –Former Director at K N Arcon Pvt Ltd (Dec 2006 – 2011), Project Management Consultant at K. Unwalla Architects (Mumbai Feb 2006 to 2010), Manager (Operations) at Ravi GunduRao& Associates, Mysore (Specialists in Conservation of Heritage Buildings) (Dec 2001 to June 2006), Assistant Manager, Architectural Conservation Cell, ACC-Research & Consultancy Directorate, Thane (Sept 1997 To Dec 2001).

Mr. Nilesh Thakkar also has experience as Visiting faculty at IES College of Architecture, Mumbai (June 2006 – May 2007), Visiting faculty at Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture and Environmental Studies (Sept 2009 – 2010), Visiting faculty at J J College of Architecture (Conservation), Mumbai (2013-15).

His practice has successfully executed several projects ranging from prime focus structures to unnoticed structures over the map of India.

Mr.Manubhai S Thakkar ( The Director )

Mr.Manubhai S Thakkar the foundation to the structure of Jeernodhar Conservators Pvt Ltd has been practicing in the engineering filed for almost two decades. He has completed his Bachelors of engineering in civil from Shivaji University, Kolhapur (1971).
